Stomach burning after eating? May be the problem of ulcers!

The word ulcer means wound. This problem occurs when there is excess acid production in the digestive system. But sometimes even if the acid level is right, it can lead to ulcers. Ulcers occur at the level of the inner wall of the stomach. And either in a part of the intestinal tract called 'small intestine'. An ulcer in the stomach is a peptic ulcer. Many times, when more acid is mixed with the digestive juice, the thin mucous layer of the stomach that protects the stomach from the digestive juice decreases, and ulcers appear. When its quantity decreases, the digestive juice begins to eat away at the stomach wall.

The initial portion of the esophagus or small intestine are where this illness typically develops. But this illness may be split into two groups. A gastric ulcer is one that develops within the esophagus. Duodenal ulcers are those that develop in the first segment of the small intestine. Small ulcers can also be brought on by an infection with the H. pylori bacteria, much like when there is too much acid in the esophagus.

There are some signs to understand that there is an ulcer

There are several symptoms of this disease. They are very common. Heartburn, pain in the upper part of the stomach, bloating or flatulence after eating, salty water coming out of the mouth, vomiting, etc., should be understood as a peptic ulcer. Additionally, keep in mind that the stomach will burn after eating if you have a gastric ulcer or an esophageal ulcer. At this point, the patient will become reluctant to eat since they will be terrified to do so. On the other hand, a duodenal ulcer, i.e. a small ulcer, will irritate the stomach if the stomach is empty or not eaten for a long time. Many times, if the stomach is empty for a long time at night, the patient gets out of bed with heartburn and looks for some food. These are very common symptoms. From this it is possible to diagnose this disease.

When to consult a doctor

If you have heartburn, upper abdominal pain and slight gas after eating, do not take over-the-counter medicines and consult a doctor. Bloating is a symptom of an ulcer. If these symptoms persist, it is not negligence at all.

Eat honey daily

An enzyme is honey. Hydrogen peroxide is created as the honey's enzymes degrade. It battles the microorganisms responsible for peptic ulcers. It is highly good to combine cinnamon powder, honey, and hot water every day.

Ginger

Ginger is very good for ulcers. Ginger also works very well for gas problems. Mix a spoonful of ginger in a cup of water and boil it well. Boil for five minutes and strain. Now mix honey in it and eat it. It is very good to eat three times a day.

Garlic

Garlic contains the compound allicin.  Allicin has antimicrobial properties. So in case of peptic ulcer it is very good if you can chew garlic with honey every day.

Turmeric

Turmeric is also rich in antioxidants. And hence helps in preventing ulcers as well. Mix one spoon of turmeric powder and one spoon of honey in a glass of warm water. Eat three times a day. You will get very good benefits.
