In the 20th century itself, a great revolution in the history of civilization is called the Cuban Revolution. This is a glorious victory of the oppressed people of the society against the powerful, capitalist classes of the society. The Cuban revolution has become a model for any small or large movement that has occurred on the earth today. The history of the Cuban Revolution is still considered a must-read for freedom-loving people all over the world. Today I will present the history of this revolution written in golden letters in history
The time was 1952. During his 2nd term, dictator Flejancio
Batista took Cuba to its peak of anarchy and chaos by illegally seizing power.
With the help of the neighboring United States, he began to deprive ordinary
Cuban citizens of various civil rights. According to history, the Batista
government also banned strikes or blockades as a protest against government
activities.

Cuba suffered severe economic losses under the Batista
government. Cuba's main cash crop, the sugar industry, was being destroyed by
the American bourgeoisie and the mafia. The whole of Cuba became the gambling
playground of the American bourgeoisie. Which created a sky-high difference
between the poor and rich classes of the country at that time.
Not only in the economic field, but also in the social field,
great suffering came down in Cuba. In particular, the American mafia came to
Cuba, and the social situation in Cuba became a mess. For example, prostitution
is a common profession in Latin American countries. However, during Batista's
reign, his outline stood in extreme disarray. According to one statistic, there
are about 270 brothels operating in Havana, a city of only 10 million people.
About 12,500 women and children worked as sex workers. Which definitely calls
into question the social balance of a country.
Also, along with sex work, the rate of drug importation
increased drastically during this time. Which is the first way to transform the
social condition of a country into anarchy. It goes without saying that the
future of the country is becoming extremely dark when the youth of the country
is heavily attracted to drugs.
There was no organized action from the politicians of that time
to get rid of the deplorable condition of Cuba. In addition, the opportunistic
and timid politicians of that time were retreating from the field of politics.
The news media at that time failed to highlight such disorderly
condition of Cuba to the world consciousness The country's media were also held
hostage by the Batista government. The secret police was created by the Batista
government so that no coup or revolution could take place anywhere in the
country. It is said that around 2000 innocent people were killed by these
secret police.
In the social and economic decline of Cuba, just as the light of
the country's renaissance was fading, the revolutionary Fidel Castro rose like
the morning sun. It was his organizational foresight and revolutionary spirit
that later took the Cuban Revolution to unprecedented heights.

Not only Fidel Castro, but Che Guevara, Sierra Maestra, Ramiro
Valdes, Raul Castro and Juan Aymeda among others appeared at such a dangerous
moment at the beginning of the Cuban Revolution.
Originally led by Castro, the Cuban Revolution began on July 26,
1953. Before this he formed a Bgrade with 1500 youths. Many of whom were
formerly dismissed from Batista's army. Many of them were in their 30s. Those
1500 revolutionaries were so dedicated to the movement that they did not
hesitate to sacrifice their last possessions for the movement. They used to
meet all the expenses of the movement with their own money. It is also said
that many of the revolutionaries donated their life savings to fund the
movement. There are also instances of financing the movement by selling one's
job for a small amount of money.
Castro organized such defectors and on July 26, 1953, attacked
the Moncada barracks and Bayamo army camp in the city of Santiago. Originally,
Castro had no intention of engaging in a frontal battle with Batista's army. He
wanted to loot enough weapons from army camps and radio the townspeople to a
coup d'état.
But sadly, the attack at 5 am on 26th July was a complete
failure. The reason for the failure is that Batista's army was much stronger
and well organized than the revolutionaries in terms of strength. When the
attack failed, many of the revolutionaries were killed and captured. And many
fled the city.
Fidel and his 18 companions managed to escape and took refuge in
a mountain cave. However, a week later they were caught by the police.
Meanwhile, after being arrested, Fidel was jailed for 15 years. But he was
released again in 1955. Although the revolution of July 23 ended in failure,
Fidel was not in the least broken. He went to Mexico to reorganize the failed
revolution. This is where the life of the Cuban Revolution was born.
In Mexico he traveled from place to place looking for workers
for the revolution. This time, almost all of them were young and young people
who joined his team. It is heard that many young people from Cuba also come to
join this group. He trained these young people who were inspired by the
revolution and continued to inspire them in the revolutionary spirit. As a
result, Fidel's team is more organized and fearsome than before.
Che Guevara met Fidel and his brother Raul in Mexico. Which is
another huge achievement for his team. The addition of a revolutionary like Che
Guevara to Fidel's guerrilla group greatly increased the success of the Cuban
revolution. Che accompanied Fidel until the end of the Cuban revolution, in
happiness and sorrow.
Finally, Fidel and about eighty of his companions left for Cuba
on November 25, 1956 by the ship "Granama". Their goal was to reach
Cuba in time for December 30th. But within a few days of the start of the
journey, many of the revolutionaries fell ill in the face of adverse sea
weather. As a result, unfortunately, within 7 days of the start of the journey,
they stopped the ship at an unspecified sea coast. But the cruel irony of fate,
the local coast guards got the news as soon as the ship arrived at that coast.
Castro's forces came under attack from the army on the news of the coast guard.
The war began. Many were killed in this war. Eventually, 22 of the
revolutionaries, including Fidel, fled to the neighboring Sierra Maestro
mountains. But Fidel did not give up. He jumped into the revolution from here.

The mountainous region of the Sierra Maestro was originally
particularly famous for the cultivation of anchovies. And the Batista
government's ongoing repression of sugarcane farmers angered the local
sugarcane farmers. And among them Fidel's popularity was sky high. Local
sugarcane farmers flocked to Fidel's side and split into small groups to carry
out guerrilla attacks. Which forced the Batista government and its military to
falter. And through such guerilla attacks, the Cuban Revolution basically
began. Along with the guerrillas, local leftist organizations took part in the
revolution.
After that, the brutal killings of the Batista government began.
The Batista government continued to attack the revolutionaries in various ways.
And Batista was joined by American capitalists. However, the revolutionaries
did not retreat from the attack. Fidel's forces continued to accelerate the
revolution through attacks and counter-attacks. The Batista government also
repeatedly failed to bring the situation under control. Finally, on December
31, 1958, that moment came. Unable to control the revolutionaries, Batista fled
Havana to Mexico. This is how the Cuban Revolution succeeded, relying on the
perseverance, patriotism and skill of Fidel and his companions.
The Cuban revolution is not only a revolution, but also the protest of the working masses against the capitalist exploiters of the society. Although history moves at its own pace, the Cuban Revolution will remain in its own place, in its own glory.
